The Mangaung  Municipality has deployed a contractor to investigate the sewer spillage behind Twin City in Heidedal.

The update was shared earlier today by the local ward councillor , on her official Facebook page, assuring residents that immediate steps are being taken to address the situation.

“Mangaung Municipality has deployed a contractor to investigate the sewer spillage behind Twincity. Community, I will keep you posted regarding the findings of the investigation,” the councillor wrote.

Residents have raised ongoing concerns about the unpleasant odor and potential health risks linked to the spill. The contractor’s investigation aims to identify the cause and recommend solutions for cleanup and prevention.
